Transmission Failure Ended Race Where Rain Wasn’t Able
Elkhart Lake, WI – On August first, Co-op Racing competed in their second NASA Mid-America Endurance Championship at Road America. Andy Berberich and Eric Kuhns piloted the Eurosport 944 for the three hour race. The team’s effort was ended approximately two thirds of the way through the race. A transmission failure forced the Eurosport 944 to exit the race early. The team returned to the pits first in class and third overall, while making gains on second overall.

A Little Mud and a Lot of Racing in Joliet, IL

Joliet, IL – The race weekend started out very wet and stormy for Co-op Racing’s third event of 2008. Driver Andy Berberich and the Eurosport 944 traveled to their home track of Autobahn Country Club (ACC). Even while being the sole participant in class, the two sprint races proved to be eventful for the team.



Excellent Team Work Delivered a 2nd Place in Team’s First 3 Hour Enduro

Joliet, IL – Co-op Racing competed in their first NASA Mid-America Endurance Championship at Autobahn Country Club (ACC). Andy Berberich and Bryan White piloted the Eurosport 944 for the three hour race. The team accomplished a 2nd place finish out of the class of nine competitors. Their finish was also 4th place out of the field of 17. The team was very pleased with their performance and delighted with having a large and competitive class.



Great Weather and Great Racing in Central Indiana

Mt Meridian, IN – The second race weekend for Co-op Racing was at the Putnam Park Road Course located between Terre Haute and Indianapolis Indiana. Driver Andy Berberich and the Eurosport 944 had another successful race weekend. With a little more competition in NASA’s 944 Cup class, Berberich earned two first place finishes.



Start of the 2008 Season in Sight of the “Gateway to the West”

Madison, IL – Co-op Racing kicked off their 2008 racing season within sight of the famed Gateway Arch of St Louis, MO at Gateway International Speedway. The two days of racing was thankfully uneventful for driver Andy Berberich and the Eurosport 944. Both days went by without mechanical or on travel issues. Unfortunately the trend from the 2007 season continues with no participation in NASA’s 944 Cup class.
